A bio sheet for my played character (not just an NPC) in my d20 Modern Firefly 'verse game. By the way, the first session went great. :)

Firefly Campaign Notes
Oct. 14th, 2006 | 03:36 pm
Well, in about a week I'll be running a Firefly campaign using the d20 Modern system for John, Michelle, and Nico (and possibly one other person). I've wanted to do this for months, but I haven't had the time to put anything together. Finding an already-made conversion, and the time to run a session once a week, I'm very excited about it.
I've only run one other game, and that was only for a couple of sessions, so this will be, yet again, a learning experience. I expect and plan on this one lasting indefinitely, though. I might post logs, though if John plans to, I'll just link his. I am lazy like that. Expect a lot of content coming up soon, in any case. Right now I've got an intro teaser I sent to all of my players.

Associated Content
Jun. 25th, 2006 | 12:16 am
I've joined a freelance writing site that pays upfront for articles on a wide variety of subjects. They judge by quality, content, and the number of traffic the user has generated in the past in terms of how much they offer for the submitted article. I'll be posting exclusive articles there about writing and Photoshop techniques, so please be sure to check it out.
As it stands, my two flash fiction pieces are on there. If you read my journal, please take a second to stop by and click through to my stories, maybe even rate them if you have amoment. Every pageview helps.

[Flash Fiction] Let it Burn

Prompt #117 from
non_plot
This is an expanded bit on one of my scraps from the post below, using the two characters who are basically meant to represent Neila and Zan in sort of a quasi-Firefly universe. :P

Some Sci-Fi Scraps
Jun. 14th, 2006 | 10:32 pm
Found these scraps on another journal I was cleaning out. Just a little experiment with some Firefly-esque sci-fi, putting some original characters into that sort of a setting. Maybe I'll use it for some challenges later on. This is barely even organized chronologically. Just blips of scenes. Like watching a poorly made trailer. :P

Even More Character Info
May. 30th, 2006 | 04:10 pm
For my character in John's DnD campaign, which is currently ongoing. Considering I started only with an idea to try a Locke-type character, I think he's developed pretty decently. I even revised his bio from what it was originally to better reflect his character.
I like Rax. He's easy to play, and adorable to watch. It's nice not playing an asshole or a deeply tormented guy sometimes. >.>

[WoW] Retribution
May. 26th, 2006 | 10:28 pm
This is rather old, dated from 2005 or thereabouts. June 2005, so says my Word document. Posting this here for safe-keeping and as a nod to the fact that I've recently updated Neila's profile.
Title: Retribution 1/?
Count: 1000
Genre: Drama
Rating: PG-13 for rating's sake
It was raining again; a cold, unfriendly rain that seeped through rotting wood and persisted until every denizen had felt at least one bitter splash at an inopportune time. Perhaps some evening festivity, or a ceremony, or some other joyous occasion for which rain was not scheduled. But she had no part in such things, and so she sat in the square, one hand firmly grasped around a flask of some burning liquid, staring up at the Cathedral.
